Lethukuthula Ndaba is a qualified and passionate Registered Counsellor with experience in supporting clients in the workplace, educational settings as well as in private sector. Being a mental health professional is more than just a career for me, it's a calling to serve those struggling with emotional and psychological challenges. I am highly skilled, compassionate, empathetic and committed to delivering client-centered support that empowers individuals and enhance personal functioning. I am Dedicated to providing exceptional care and implementing effective short-term interventions for adolescents and adults experiencing or exposed to Trauma, Abuse and Bereavement. My work experience in employee wellness has fueled my passionate to empower students by providing interventions that support student development, career guidance through psychological assessments and mental health support in order to align students with their strengths and abilities so they can succeed in their careers.Furthermore, I have a good track record of success working with diverse client population in both groups and on one-on-one basis. I am an effective communicator, group facilitator, able to manage different personalities, diffuse stressful situations and have an innate ability to establish rapport, build trust and relate to individuals on different levels and from diverse cultural backgrounds. Areas of expertise include Bereavement, Trauma, Career Guidance, Mental Health and Social Development. Having special interest in Solution-focused, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Person-Centered and Positive Psychology Counselling Approaches.
