I’m a professional expert in environmental matters and sustainability. I have participated in the development of forest carbon capture projects, under different verification protocols and I was part of the committee in the drafting of Mexican regulations in this regard, as well as an International Protocol. I have served both parts of the market, developing projects that supply carbon offsets and promoting forest carbon credits with different industries and government entities, by generating inventories for companies, events, and governments. Thanks to my capacity for dialogue and adaptability to different sectors, I have been able to connect rural projects with urban demands. Among my relevant achievements, it stands out having placed the largest number of forest carbon bonds in the voluntary market at the national level for more than 5 consecutive years.I studied Chemical Engineering as an undergrad at Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and Cleaner Production Engineering for my master’s degree at Instituto Politecnico Nacional (IPN); both in Mexico City.I am an experienced lecturer and trainer on environmental issues, I have worked on research in green and environmentally friendly chemistry at both the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition, within my professional development, I have collaborated in the creation of didactic material along the lines of education for sustainable development and integration of ecosystem services for environmental management.I have studied the personal care products industry, analyzing the toxicity and ecotoxicity of some raw materials, specifically those considered endocrine disruptors.I am a Founding Partner of EDUKANTE, Education for Sustainable Development https://www.instagram.com/edukante.online/. I also participate as a Technical Committee Member of the Green Key Program, FEE MEXICO, and the Ecology Committee of the INSTITUTO ASUNCIÓN DE MEXICO, as a volunteer working on the lines of the Recycling Program, Urban Gardens, and, providing workshops and Academic Advice on the subjects.
