Leticia Taimo, MSc, is an international development professional with more than 8 years of experience. She specializes in monitoring evaluation and learning (MEL) and has over the past 7 years managed and been lead evaluator for over 5 simultaneous short term and long term evaluations at a time, reporting to multiple clients and always meeting deadlines and staying within budget. Over the past 8 years she has managed over 15 evaluations for more than 14 clients. She recently was the mid-level evaluation manager for a USD $2.5 million impact evaluation and COVID-19 research project on an early-grade reading intervention program in South Africa for USAID. Leticia has led a number of evaluations for clients such as UNICEF, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the LEGO Foundation and the Aga Khan Foundation. Since 2021, Ms. Taimo was has been a volunteer for the Peer to Peer Career Advisory Sessions (a World Bank Group initiative under the Global Evaluation Initiative). She was a founding member of the Mozambican Evaluation Association (2020) and uses that membership to build capacity for emerging evaluators. She is a native Portuguese speaker, professionally proficient in English, and has professional working proficiency in French (C2). Leticia has worked with projects in Mozambique, South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Haiti.
