I'm just like you. I went from interview to interview (if I even got an interview), hoping to find my forever position and career path. After copious amounts of hard work and emotional bandwidth, I realized that the largest obstacle I was forced to overcome was the subconscious idea that I wasn't capable. Instead of rolling over and giving up, I made a commitment to myself that if they couldn't see my potential, I was going to show them. Creating Tisha Unarmed on YouTube, was dedicated to changing the perspective on what is possible and the adaptability to solving life's problems. It sparked the desire to create a movement, helping people with disabilities discover that their ability is more than their disability. V15Able was created to bring humans together to not only fuel the employment rate amongst people with disabilities, but also the communities within the United States. We help people with disabilities gain confidence to address their challenges or barriers to access in the workplace, but we also help organizations and businesses understand the value opportunity when hiring a diverse workforce. V15Able bridges the gap between the assumptions associated with having a disability and what is possible.
