*Work collaboratively with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to District requirements.*Develop and deliver lessons according to guidelines established by the Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative guidelines that incorporate accommodations for differences in student learning styles, specifically in the area of dyslexia.*Use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.*Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.*Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.*Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.*Help students analyze and improve study methods and habits.*Implement procedures to identify and monitor identified students, including review of student data.*Provide identified students with supplemental academic instruction.*Consult with staff to provide resources and support to aid in accomplishing program goals.*Support and participate in meeting the objectives of the campus/department improvement plans.

*Monitor instructional and managerial processes to ensure that program activities are related to program outcomes and use findings to take corrective actions for improvement, as well as for recognition for success.*Work with the Associate Superintendent of Academics to ensure that instructional programs are compatible with the District approved curriculum.*Interview, select, and orient new staff. Approve all personnel assigned to campus.*Define expectations for staff performance with regard to instructional strategies, classroom management, and communication with the public.*Comply with District policies and state and federal laws and regulations.*Develop campus budgets based on documented program needs, estimated enrollment, personnel, and other financial needs. Keep program within budget limits.
