My role at the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC) encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at promoting public health and environmental sustainability. I engage with local, regional, and national policymakers to advocate for policies that promote environmental sustainability, reduce pollution, and mitigate climate change. This involves lobbying for stricter regulations, supporting carbon emission reduction initiatives, and advocating for sustainable urban planning. I also develop and implement educational campaigns to raise awareness about environmental health issues and empower communities to adopt sustainable practices, organizing workshops, seminars, and community events on waste reduction and energy conservation. Through community outreach efforts, I work directly with communities to assess their environmental health needs and develop targeted interventions, collaborating with organizations and providing resources to support community-led initiatives.

Support optimization of services such as Viral Load testing, Differentiated Model of Care (DMOC), Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy (TPT) uptake, demand creation for HIV Counseling and testing, and Index Case Testing. Support integration of HIV/AIDS services into routine health services including reproductive health, routinely monitor and report performance indicators and engage in quality improvement measures. Ensure that the quality of program activities adheres to SOPs by supporting the development and implementation of appropriate mechanisms to ensure quality. Provide technical assistance and mentoring to health facility monitoring and evaluation officers in documentation, quality data collection, analysis, dissemination, and use of health information for program planning and management. Provide supportive supervision and mentor-ship for DECs on High Frequency reporting on the dhis2 platform. Monitor data entries on LAMIS, LAMISlite and dhis2 platforms and routinely perform data quality assessments across sites. Prepared LGA EMR Dashboard on a weekly basis and participate in routine WhatsApp data review. Supervise implementation and use of monitoring and evaluation tools and adherence to complete, correct, and timely reporting. Collate and validate monthly summary reports and perform data entries into the dhis2 and approved templates. Support preparations of sites and participate in DQA activities with 100% data correlation with reports and facility source documents. Ensure timely and accurate data reporting to the standard expected of reporting outputs across all data reporting platforms.

Retrieve and sort data from source document for electronic database entries (LAMIS) and daily upload into DHIS. Maintain confidentiality of information on source document and database and management of source documents. Collate and prepare monthly reports including but not limited to ART, HTS, and PMTCT monthly summary reports respectively. Support data validation exercises across different FHI 360 supported facilities within Uyo Cluster. Perform data entry into various reporting platforms including DHIS and LAMIS. Support the implementation of facility and community-based Prevention, Care & Treatment activities including strengthening referrals, linkages and improve demand creation for HIV/AIDS services. Support the integration of HIV/AIDS services into routine health services including reproductive health, routinely monitor and report performance indicators and engage in quality improvement measures. Perform other monitoring and evaluation-related duties as assigned including report preparation on the Retention Audit Determination and Evaluation Tool (RADET).

 Ensure that ARV regimens for HIV-positive pregnant and nursing women are optimized. Facilitate maternal retesting optimization to close gaps of missed opportunities. Ensure that sites reach 100% coverage of Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) testing for HIV-exposed infants (HEI) by 2 months of age and that sites initiate ART for infants who test positive on the same day. Support follow-up HIV tests for HIV exposed infants (HEI) at 9–12 months, whenever there are symptoms of an HIV infection, and at 18 months or six weeks after the end of breastfeeding to ascertain the child's ultimate HIV status. Encourage partner participation and involvement during Antenatal care (ANC). Lead the implementation of creative ways to lower the risk of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) in HIV-positive women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and breastfeeding by promptly treating STIs and genital tract infections and ensuring pregnant women receive appropriate nutrition. Engage and train women who successfully complete PMTCT to serve as Mentor-Mothers and provide adherence counseling.Mentor providers to educate women on potential treatments before, during pregnancy, and after child birth
