Built approximately 100 homes in Metro Detroit. The areas I built in were Rochester Hills, Troy, Canton, Northville (Joint venture with Curtis Homes and Estate Home Builders), West Bloomfield and Farmington Hills and Lake Orion (under the name Lederman Custom Home Builders; a joint venture with my two brothers). I was responsible for all facets of the business including lot purchases, model design and development, decorating, permitting and superintending, financial management, customer relations and closings. There is little about the business that I do not fully understand and appreciate. I am also very good at handling customer complaints before they become a serious issue or before they produce an unhappy client. I find it is much easier to handle a problem before it really becomes one and am always checking to make sure the jobs run without stressing the homeowner. I have always prided myself in customer relations and satisfaction having been very successful in developing a close rapport and understanding with my customers. I believe I have a very charismatic personality that allows people to trust and appreciate my efforts.I also was involved in two Homearama shows...I helped design, decorate and market the model homes; one in Troy and the other in Lake Orion.
