  • Self-Employed
It Seems There Is A Gap Here...
    Self-Employed 2002 - 2004
After BeQubed crashed and burned, I took some time off, went to Aqaba, Jordan and became a PADI scuba instructor. After six months, I decided I love diving and didn't want to ruin it by making it my profession. So I returned to Paris, rejuvenated. And this is the period when I started InMentors, originally based in Paris, France. I have often been asked to advise tech-based startups in getting up and running, and then help them figure out who they wanted to be when they grew up. Sometimes it is at a critical moment, such as a pivot, where deep introspection and strategic thinking is needed. That’s where I come in.It started as an occasional thing (one week a month), and it quickly turned into a full time activity. I started solo, added a couple consultants, found this work to be highly specialized, so returned to doing this solo. I worked initially with early stage VC / incubators in Paris and then UK and US. I still run InMentors today as an advisor and angel investor.
