My fascination with the human body and exercise rehabilitation has been a driving force throughout my career. From my early years as a personal trainer to my current role as a kinesiologist, I have been passionate about helping people improve their fitness and wellbeing through movement.As a kinesiologist working across three multidisciplinary clinics, I specialize in assisting patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents and supporting older adults in their journey of active aging. With experience in Gradual Return to Work programming, I have assisted numerous clients to safely return to work in both office-based and manual labor roles. Additionally, I have extensive experience in training older adults, focusing on strength training, balance and coordination, and functional training essential for independent living. My journey from Bangladesh to Canada at the age of nine instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and inclusion. Fluent in multiple languages, I take pride in my ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds, fostering relationships built on mutual trust. Inspired by my interests in dancing and boxing, I incorporate my clients' interests into their sessions. Why can't rehabilitation be fun? Through collaboration with fellow practitioners and a commitment to continuous learning, I strive to deliver the highest standard of care to my clients.
