Spearheaded the development of a forecasting model, designed to predict birth and death rates up to 2050, while implementing a cyclical nature to the death rate forecast. This model will replace the Moody’s and be fed into Bank of America’s population migration model.Designed class objects to house the individual forecasting models and historical tests for birth rates and death rates. Created the unit and integration tests that enabled our scripts to be implemented into our teams remote branch.Discovered significance among new extraneous variables by doing EDA on 376 MSA’s. These variables were mined, cleaned, and extrapolated to be merged into our original dataset. Performed agglomerative clustering as a backwards approach to identify if our variables provided meaningful contributions.
