Global Markets serves as a bridge between Corporate Treasury and other Maybank's Line of Businesses (investment banking, corporate and commercial banking) in terns of liquidity needs/demands. In addition, I act as a liaison between institutional clients and the ASEAN region on sovereign and corporate debts (primary and secondary markets) whether it is in USD or local currencies.

The Receivables Exchange is an electronic trading platform for corporate trade receivables. Named Wall Street Journal Most Innovative E-Commerce Tech Company in 2010.Highest producer of bringing signed buyers onto the platform. Buyers were institutional clients (ie. banks, hedge funds, family offices....) and sellers of trade receivables were large public and private companies (many of them Fortune 500).

Reported directly to GM of North America. My role was to expand the product offerings/business lines of BGC Partners. Instrumental in talent acquisitions of revenue generating teams in equities, equity derivatives and municipal bond brokering. Success track record of opening new institutional accounts and increasing revenue year over year.

I was responsible for business development of the cash equities business line of BGC Partners for the Amercias. Instrumental in talent acquisitions of revenue generating producers as well as direct business development of bringing new institutional clients.
