Designed as a tier II writing class offered exclusively online, the course is meant to critically examine the problem of cybercrime and the ways that this type of deviance is facilitated through technology, the Internet, and the World Wide Web. I aim to strike a balance between instruction meant to improve students’ writing skills, and the discussion of central concerns of the subject matter meant to facilitate the understanding of the complex nature of this crime, its significance for modern societies as well as possible countermeasures.
