As a police officer at Abington Township, I have a demonstrated history of working cooperatively with members of the public and private sectors, ensuring public safety, and resolving critical incidents. I am certified in crisis negotiations, interventions, and stress management, and I have successfully de-escalated multiple crisis situations.I am also a part-time training instructor at Montgomery County Municipal Police Academy, where I provide training to police officer recruits and municipal police officers throughout Pennsylvania in accordance with the Municipal Police Officers and Education Commission standards. I have developed training curriculums and delivered courses in the areas of use of force, interacting with individuals with special needs, bias awareness, and community relationships. I have a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from Thomas Jefferson University and I have a master's degree in Criminal Justice/ Public Safety Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. My mission is to use my skills and expertise to enhance the quality and effectiveness of law enforcement and public safety in my community and beyond.
