Director Of Communications
CurrentThe essential function of the Communications Director is to plan, implement, direct and supervise a comprehensive internal and external communications program for Lake County government to keep the public informed of County programs, issues and initiatives. The position is responsible for directing the functions and staff of the Office of Communications, public and media outreach, managing promotions and special events, developing and maintaining effective Internet/intranet web content, overseeing graphic design and production for all County departments, and performing related professional, supervisory and administrative duties as assigned. The position develops and implements programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.
