Implementing the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), ensuring it aligns with the project requirements and international standards, such as IFC, Equator Principles, and local regulations.Leading the implementation of commitments outlined in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Report, Commitments Register, and Environmental and Social Action Plan. (ESAP)Serving as the primary liaison between Lenders, including international banks and export credit agencies (ECAs), and the Project, ensuring transparent and effective communication.Leading stakeholder engagement efforts, including managing the Grievance Mechanism and community engagement activities.Addressing community concerns, informing relevant people in the Project for the resolution, and ensure effective stakeholder communication.Monitoring and analyzing real-time E&S data to identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.Monitoring social impacts of the Project, and reporting on these activities to relevant stakeholders, including lenders, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.Managing subcontractors and tenants, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contractor, to ensure their adherence to Project’s E&S requirements throughout project phases.Providing technical guidance and capacity-building activities to subcontractors to ensure understanding and implementation of Project’s E&S requirements.Conducting regular inspections and audits of subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with ESIA commitments, ESAP requirements, and other E&S standards.Developing and implementing corrective action plans with subcontractors to address non-compliance issues and ensure continuous improvement in E&S performance.Preparing and presenting comprehensive E&S performance reports for stakeholders, summarizing progress, compliance status, and any necessary corrective actions.

He supports the Mayor of Bozcaada in achieving best local management practices, assets and legal entities in meeting, maintaining and reporting best available practices relevant to his jurisdiction. Management of relations with Lenders (such as IFC, WB) and managing the process of ESIA's required for those projects. He is also directly responsible to implement best available practices on environmental issues in order to protect life in Bozcaada. Construction of WWTP of Bozcaada is completed under his supervision. The ongoing construction of water main and distribution lines also falls under his responsibility. Bozcaada is a small (38 km2) touristic island identified as 1st degree natural/archaeological protected area with 3k residents living permanently and visited by 1.5 M people in summer period. This intensive consumption of environmental and natural resources requires an island specific HS& Environmental management system. The preservation of coastal line, forests and natural life is only possible with best environmental management practices. HS system of the Municipality is also falling under his responsibility. Two Horizon 2020 projects have been awarded with his application. Total project budget for VPP4Islands -Virtual Power Plant for Interoperable and Smart Islands- and NATMED -Nature-based Solutions on existing infrastructures for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean- projects is 400k Euro. He is also the head of the board of Municipalities Trade Company which has over 30 workers and app 800k USD circa annual budget.

He supports the Country HSSE & SD Manager and GXM in achieving Goal Zero, with special focus on Contractor HSSE&SP Management, Worksite Hazard Management and Land Transport and assets and legal entities in meeting, maintaining and reporting HSSE&SP regulatory requirements relevant to their Venture agreement; development and inclusion of appropriate HSSE&SP clauses in new contracts; drive continuous improvement toward top quartile Group HSSE&SP performance; delivery of Goal Zero:delivery of Control Framework requirements including reporting and oil spill response; delivery of HSSE&SP assurance and audits.Exploration focus areas of: Road safety - high risk country with significant road transport exposure; Road transport case(s); Work site hazard management - range of activities to be undertaken with contractors of all banding levels; Contractor management - range of contractors to be used with mix of capabilities, contract holder training and ongoing guidance; cross business liaison with downstream; support to the SUT Wells HSSE &SP Lead. He manages the Incidents/ Investigations and learnings from incidents.Manages (frame/evaluate/ram/assign/follow up) business risks with Easy Risk software. Support Bulgaria venture for the Environmental Impact assessment of seismic and seephunter activities. He supports set up of HSSE SP Management System for the new venture.

Responsible for HSE planning, management, preparation and execution of the projects according to highest HSE requirements. The field is estimated to contain 17 billion barrels, which accounts for 12% of Iraq's oil reserves estimated at 143.1 billion barrels. The field is owned by Iraq and subcontracted to BP and CNPC under Iraq Producing Field Technical Service Contract (PFTSC). BP is an operator of the project with 38% while CNPC and SOMO hold 37% and 25%, respectively. The rehabilitation and expansion project will be managed by Rumaila Field Operating Organization (ROO) which will be staffed mainly from TEKFEN and smaller number of experts from BP and CNPC. As of October 2012, the field produces 1,330,000 barrels per day (211,000 m3/d) making up 40% of Iraq's oil production of 2.4 million barrels per day (380,000 m3/d). Rumaila Oil Field has an expansion project and this project includes many new flow lines, well heads, a new water treatment plant for water injection to oil base and a pipe line to carry that water from water intake to injection points. More than 40 contractors are awarded for different contracts and as a HSE he assures the highest HSE quality during the kick-off and execution of the projects.

Responsible at LEV Co. as General Manager for management, preparation and execution of projects according to highest HSE standards. The site works are also managed by a team who are supervised by him. LEV Co work as HSE Consultant for Factories, Quarries, Hotels, Hospitals, Industrial Zones, Wind Turbines, Pipelines and Municipalities.

Responsible at GATAB as Vice Manager (and General Manager for a period of 8 months in the absence of GM) to manage a non profit state organisation (Union of Municipalities) which consists of six municipalities , four villages and employs 434 people (290 of them are blue collar workers) and operates five Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP’s), supplies drinking water, conducts solid waste management system, constructs infrastructure for sewer, drinking water and storm water and struggles with vectors in a region harboring app. 300.000 people, supporting tourism and managing EU Projects. Union’s annual budget is circa 21.000.000 €. Proprietary capital of the union is app. 55.000.000 €.

Responsible at BOTAŞ Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project (BTC P/L) LOTB– Construction Stage, as HSE Manager and deputy Spread Superintendent and managed a team of 100 people consisting of; HSE Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Environmental Engineers, Ecologists, Third Party Consultants, Geologists, QA/QC Inspectors, Soil Experts, Hydro-Geologists, Landscape Planners, Forest Engineers and Construction Workers.Public training programme to raise HSE awareness have implemented at the construction region. Cooperation with local NGO’s have supported mentioned awareness programme. 24 Ecological Sensitive Areas and 485 Steep Slope and Special Crossings (road, river, stream, fault, wetland, forest areas etc), were determined in LOT B and special construction methods have used in these mentioned areas. Responsibility of; supervising of construction teams, auditing of third parties, commissioning operation and auditing of quarries, control of construction activities, giving HS&E trainings, H&S inspection, auditing and engineering, H&S risk analysis, toolbox talks, cultural heritage, soil management, ecological management, seed collection and viability tests, transplantation, reinstatement, erosion control, temporary and permanent erosion control measures, preparation and commenting on project documentation and work method statements, auditing of application on site, weekly and monthly inspection, audits and reporting, hydro test, water abstraction and discharge for hydro test, control of freshwater and waste water treatment systems, management and disposal of hazardous, general and organic solid wastes.

Responsible at DSİ Greater Istanbul Water Supply Project Stage II Melen System – Construction Stage, as HS and Environmental Manager.The project has a capacity of 8.5 m3/s raw water, 2.5 m diameter steel pipe with a length of 69 km and 70m wide cut platform transmission main. The project RoW passes though Akcakoca – Istanbul direction and difficult terrain of black sea region. Responsibility of controlling of construction and inspecting and auditing contractors’ environmental studies according to the technical specification requirements, preparation and review of HS and Environmental Management Plan, required reports, research, relations with employee, community liaison, preparation of ESIA and other documents, preparation of stuff environmental training program, landscape rehabilitation and maintenance plan, emergency and spillage response plan, environmental protection plan, determination of any kind of pollution .
