I worked as a project engineer at 4C Medikal. My responsibility was to take part in setting up and establishing Solid Modelling Center (METÜM) at Gülhane Medical Military Academy (GATA). Main purpose of the center is to manufacture custom-made prosthesis. Manufacturing custom-made prosthesis is a process starting from radiology images. Using medical softwares (Mimics, 3-Matic), tailormade prosthesis are designed and later manufactured by 3D Metal Printers.As soon as the medical softwares and devices including metal 3D printer were set up, I trained and supervised GATA personnel about every stage of the process. Supervision contract between GATA and 4C Medikal was for 1 year and as soon as the project ended, I quit my job for my military obligations.
