- Implement and develop signal denoising algorithms for multivariate time-series data (Magnetoencephalography - MEG) in time and frequency domain using MATLAB and Python with various toolboxes, packages and custom scripts - Design and program Arduino based phantom setups to mimic noisy measurement conditions, thereby creating test MEG data for denoising algorithms - Collect, preprocess, denoise and analyze patient MEG data (Parkinson's patients) - Use various statistical methods for hypothesis testing and making inference from data - Report findings in peer-reviewed journals

- Designed following 2 projects from scratch and acquired more than 1M Euro state funding:Bionic Hand: Artificial hand designed to help upper limb amputees in their daily routines through utilization of user’s electromyogram (EMG) signals Direct Metal Laser Melting (DMLM) Machine: Additive manufacturing machine which fuses metal powders with the help of high-powered fiber laser to produce functional parts - Developed EMG signal processing algorithm and real-time control software of the Bionic Hand on Texas Instruments Piccolo Microcontroller using MATLAB/Simulink - Developed real-time embedded control software of the DMLM Machine on National Instruments CompactRIO System using Lua programming language - Coordinated mechanical and electronic design of both projects and provided key contributions - Showcased both projects at International Defense Fair 2017 in İstanbul - Obtained ethics approval to test the Bionic Hand on patients - Managed Control Design and Automation Team consisting of Biomedical, Mechanical and Mechatronics engineers - Supervised conceptualization of Turkey’s first exoskeleton project and acquired state funding

I completed my military services as a reserve officer at GATA METÜM. I was transferred to GATA in order to continue training the personnel and take part in the manufacturing of custom-made prosthesis.

I worked as a project engineer at 4C Medikal. My responsibility was to take part in setting up and establishing Solid Modelling Center (METÜM) at Gülhane Medical Military Academy (GATA). Main purpose of the center is to manufacture custom-made prosthesis. Manufacturing custom-made prosthesis is a process starting from radiology images. Using medical softwares (Mimics, 3-Matic), tailormade prosthesis are designed and later manufactured by 3D Metal Printers.As soon as the medical softwares and devices including metal 3D printer were set up, I trained and supervised GATA personnel about every stage of the process. Supervision contract between GATA and 4C Medikal was for 1 year and as soon as the project ended, I quit my job for my military obligations.

I helped reviewing and updating UBB records. I helped translating technical specification sheets of devices sold by Maquet.

I worked as a technical service engineer at the calibration center of the hospital.
