Position held : 01 May 2017 – 31 Dec 2018 & 01 Aug 2020 – Current- Building and maintaining relationships, and liaising with, key stakeholders (e.g. Assessors, Panel beaters, Brokers, Legal, suppliers etc.).- Use appropriate tools (TIAL, supplier contact and / or negotiation) to accurately cost the claim, and make informed and appropriate decision which is correct for the business and reasonable for the customer.- Remain up to date with insurable goods, and knowing where to find appropriate information.- Ensure claims are finalised within set parameters.- Taking accountability for full resolution of claims processes (incl. the communication of theoutcome of the claim), to deliver a quality service to, and retain, customers.- Take accountability for the resolution of customer complaints, with a view to customer retention.- Be innovative and use judgement to solve unique or unusual customer situations outside set parameters, with a view to customer retention.

- Prepare Renewal terms on Agricultural Policies.- Apply renewal process suggestions and activities.- Identify and mitigate risk.- Analyse loss ratios and claims history.- Negotiate rates with the Senior Portfolio Manager in accordance with the renewal terms.

- Preparing Agri & Commercial quotes.- Amend and add sections/items on existing quotations.- Follow up with the broker on quotations done.- Apply discount within my specific mandate close the quotation.- Decline quotation requests where needed eg. high loss ratio, undesirable business etc.- Negotiate with the broker in order to get the business.
