CurrentBring to life Merck’s media strategy, showcasing the company as the premier research-intensive biopharmaceutical company in the world.• Lead company’s financial communications / media across quarterly earnings, annual shareholder meeting, and financial events such as J.P. Morgan, among other initiatives.• Foster relationships with top-tier reporters and editors to protect, defend and enhance company’s reputation. Outlets include The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNBC, Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, Barron’s, Forbes, Fox Business, Yahoo Finance, Good Morning America and Endpoints, among others.• Partner internally with stakeholders across geographies and business areas to create storytelling strategies that showcase our Company’s business developments, research, innovation, collaborations, and other milestones.• Create and maintain media response plan, including proactively planning for and managing issues affecting company and industry. Serve as company spokesperson.• Prepare and counsel Executive Team members and other senior leaders for media interviews and speaking engagements.
