I come from the small town in Alabama. I began working in construction at the age of 13, focusing on hardwood floors and tiling. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three wonderful boys. I joined the Air Force in 2013…Over the past 10 years, I have progressed from Airman First Class to Staff Sergeant, earning a step promotion to Technical Sergeant in the US Air Force. My career began at the 305th Aerial Port Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, followed by a tour with the 728th Air Mobility Squadron at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. I am currently serving with the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. During this time, I have completed four deployments. Most recently, I returned in April and was selected for involuntary retraining into a new career field, which I declined to pursue my own career path. Over the next year, I plan to transition into the Guard or Reserves and seek a SkillBridge partner to facilitate my entry into Project/Program Management.
