Gulf Mechanical Superintendent assists in supervising all daily operations and activities in the division. Responsibilities include assisting with project management, helping prepare project estimates, scheduling of divisional employees and materials, keeping schedule of equipment parts and repairs, assisting with quality assurance of project surveys and quantities, ensuring safety protocols are implemented and followed throughout the division. Essential Job Duties:Plan and supervises activities- including determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, work schedules and ensures all necessary reporting requirements are met.Maintains liaison with operations, engineering and estimating to ensure work complies with contract specifications, drawings and work schedule.Prepare project estimate quantities for bidding purposes. Perform and/or interpret survey data for estimate preparation.Assists in overseeing equipment repairs and scheduling.Manages and submits weekly payrolls, equipment reports and requisitions for parts and materials.Ensure that all on site personnel complies with project site procedures and Weeks Marine safety program. Documents all violations, notifies management and takes corrective actions as needed.Project Quality Control- ensure that project specifications are being adhered too. Overseeing quality of work being performed on site. Direct involvement with the client and attending project meetings.

Duties:-Support a 24/7 LNG Plant and Marine Terminal environment where conscientious compliance to policy, procedures, safety, and dedication is essential. -Promote safety and environmental compliance at all times by ensuring that all safety and environmental policies and procedures are enforced. -Assist in coordinating arrival and departure of LNG tankers at the terminal. -Assist in the daily dock operations. -Monitor and provide an overview of all Marine Operations for records and reports purposes.-Manage all dredge activities and land/hydrographic surveys when needed.-Work as a qualified field B operator in process areas of the facility. -Serve on Emergency Response Team, trained in Hazmat, First Aid, and LNG Firefighting-Completed the NFPA 1081 Industrial Exterior Fire training at Texas A&M-Certified Facility Security Officer(FSO)

Duties:-Review of contract plans, specifications and contract requirements to insure proper implementation of methods for project Quality Control.-Project QC oversight to ensure contract compliance for all definable features of work including but not limited to hydrographic surveys, dredge location control, daily reports, three-phase QC meeting implementation, water quality monitoring and reporting, safety compliance, inspection, and deficiency tracking in QCS.-Knowledge and understanding of basic survey data acquisition and post data processing and ability to analyze the processed data. Understand GPS, Heave and Swell compensator, Hypack, and automated tide gauge systems.-Familiar with dredging and disposal operations for hopper, pipeline or clamshell dredges.-Familiar with DQM (Silent Inspector) system for hopper dredges including system components for data acquisition, raw data forwarding methods, raw data parsing, data review and analysis.

Duties:-Create and implement Channel Design using Hypack and AutoCAD to provide dredge guidance.-Maintain and troubleshoot Hypack Survey and Dredgepack programs and related hardware including DGPS, GPS, fathometers, gyro compasses and tide gauges.-Collect, process and analyze hydrographic survey data to ensure accurate production measurements.-Calculate and submit volumes of removed material for payment.-Generate daily reports, including USACE Quality Control, and provide accurate records of dredge and survey activities.-Supervise, coordinate and oversee the daily operations of a team of surveyors.-Train new employees in the collection and editing of single-beam survey data.-Safely operate and maintain various sized survey vessels inaccordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
