I have always believed in transferable skills. I started out as most young people do in construction learning from my elders. I was taught how to read blueprints for commercial Land development. I found that I truly enjoyed taking something on paper and making it real. I went to college for drafting and design. I applied myself and strove to absorb as much knowledge as possible. After leaving college I found myself with an opportunity to take on a position as marketing director for a safe manufacturing company. In the time that I was there I learned how to delegate. How to manage time. I learned the Value and importance of keeping good records. And probably most importantly how much work went into a single product on all levels. This was a small company. Not only was I responsible for marketing and advertising but I also manage the office the inventory and I helped in the manufacturing process. It was during this time that I became good at welding and fabricating. As time went on I found myself gravitated towards jobs that were in demand for skills in fabrication and in design. Today I have over 5 years’ experience in fabrication and welding. I have worked on projects ranging from art to repair work on semi-trailers. I have a diverse background. I have a good working knowledge of what a it takes to complete a job. I have a comprehensive knowledge of how difficult it is to build an object that is cluttered compact and not very well thought out. I have hands on experience.
