During my university studies in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, I extensively read English technical literature related to my field. This experience unveiled a passion for translation and localization, sparked by frequent encounters with poorly translated Chinese versions of technical documents and textbooks. Often, the meaning was so obscured that understanding could only be achieved by referring back to the original English texts.Compelled to trace sources and re-translate each document, I discovered that translation is far from simple. It isn’t merely about converting words into sentences; it requires a deep understanding of the target language's culture and linguistic norms to truly convey the original message effectively. Through ongoing learning and hands-on practice, I not only grasped the importance of accurate translation but also developed a profound appreciation for this field—a field that bridges cultures and demands skilled professionals.After graduation, driven by my newfound passion, I entered the translation and localization industry. I co-founded GloryTranslate with several skilled classmates and colleagues. Despite facing numerous challenges during our early days, our enthusiasm for translation has never diminished. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service because we believe that each high-quality translation not only fulfills a commitment to our clients but also reflects our personal and professional values.
