I have learned from a number of work and life experiences, and hope to continue to learn as much as I can. I'm hard-working and positive in my day-to-day work, always doing my best to be a team player. I am used to working difficult hours and days, but I thoroughly enjoy working all sorts of assignments because I believe the most effective work comes from an appreciation of the task itself.My most recent full-time position was as a Sports Researcher for NBC. I was trusted with live on-air material during production of sporting events, and required high levels of fact-checking & due diligence. I worked in busy control rooms where teamwork and coordination was key to producing quality content. I loved what I did because it was exhilarating and involved a passion of mine, and because I believe in attacking each day with an energetic and positive attitude.I've worked jobs as a camp counselor, soccer referee, soccer coach, groundskeeper, and garbage remover. My job as a camp counselor was my favorite job to date; I loved working with kids, and learned a great deal about responsibility and leadership. I wish I had been able to referee and coach more because that was a similarly enjoyable and educational experience. Working as a groundskeeper and garbage remover may not sound glamorous but being paid to work outside in the sun and get exercise alongside good people was a great deal for me!I have intern experience working for CNN Sports, ESPN and ONE World Sports. At CNN, I worked as a production assistant for a daily show on CNN International, covering the 2018 World Cup.Some of my hobbies include: playing sports, playing board games, reading, debating (sometimes more aptly, arguing), studying cinematography, and learning new things & teaching things I've learned. I've played soccer since I could walk. I've learned to work with other people, learned to lead as a captain, learned to follow as a teammate, been exposed to all kinds of different backgrounds, and discovered a lot about who I am and what I value most in life. I'm a hard-working and happy person that values the dedication, training sessions, friendships, and journey far more than the trophy.A friend and I started a weekly podcast on our college radio station about soccer called the Invincibles. I tried something new to me, put myself out there and completely loved it! During COVID-19, my friend and I reignited our podcast virtually, doing a weekly Rewatchables podcast for great films we both appreciate.
