  The “Building Responsibility for the Delivery of Government Services in South Sudan” aim is to support local government to deliver social services to the citizens in the areas of community rural development, Agriculture (Food security), WASH, and Education in the northern states of South Sudan. Provide overall leadership and day to day management in coordination with Governance Senior Supervisor of the project for agriculture livelihoods activities.  Activity planning and budgeting, leading the implementation of planned activities, M&E and reporting and follow-ups). Engage and liaise with the government counterparts (National and Warrap State Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry, County level Directors, Extension workers) to secure government participation in project activities including trainings of government extension staff and farmers at county and payam level. Foster government ownership of project approach and outcomes. Built government capacity at the county agriculture department (CAD) through capacity building in technical areas of extension service provision, provision of office equipment and mobility. Co-manage the grants management with responsibility to develop grant vouchers, organize the merchant to meet farmers and talk about the availability of ox plows for sale during the extension service trainings, link merchant with ox plow suppliers in Uganda and Khartoum. Organize merchant to sell the plows to farmers who have registered with their county agriculture department, collect vouchers from merchant and submit to grants manager for payment to merchant Regular participation at the Republic of South Sudan Local Government Board and state government level food security management and technical committee meetings for BRIDGE project.  Supported animal traction merchant grant activities, specifically co-managing grants disbursement and providing technical assistance
