Acted as administrative assistant to Busch's two District Managers. My main responsibility was acting as the District Managers' liaison to the 16 individual Store Managers and other corporate employees. This often involved collecting and compiling information from Store Managers (financial reports, staffing reports, staff performance reviews, capital expenditure needs, etc.) to convey to the District Managers. Additionally arranging meetings between the District and Store managers. Another responsibility was the weekly scheduling our 12 swing department managers based on which stores required assistance, and also maintaining those swing manager's payroll and facilitating any of their needs. I also assisted the District Managers in projecting the yearly staffing budgets for all stores.

Through an apprenticeship program, learned to butcher and process beef, pork, and poultry from whole primals over the course of 1.5 years, then transitioning to the full role of a Meat Cutter thereafter. Regular tasks included processing and merchandising meat in full service displays and self service packaging, guest service, ensuring cleanliness of all work areas and displays, and ordering and stocking product, and generally maintaining the expectations and standards of our corporate leadership. Additionally as a Meat Cutter I was also considered to be an assistant manager in terms of overseeing meat and seafood departmental staff and delegating tasks to them.

As an intern with the Office of Environmental Assistance, I worked on various environmentally-focused projects throughout my term here. One of these projects included the research of Green Infrastructure and the creation of supplementary informational material. An additional project involved researching and reporting on aquaculture (fish farming) in freshwater lakes, as well as looking into the views of the Great Lakes states on this practice in the Great Lakes.
