Energizer - Monroe, Oh

The Energizer Monroe site is the North American Logistics Hub for Energizer Holding Automotive Care Business. The 755,000 sq/ft facility opened in 2019 and is operated by DHL Supply Chain. The site ships both domestic and global orders for Energizer Holdings Inc. Products distributed include Amoral, ACPro, STP, NuFinish, and California Scents. The site has been at full operating capacity since June of 2020.

P&G Union Oh

The Dayton Mixing Center is a P&G dedicated facility operated by the DHL Supply Chain. As a General Manager at the site I am responsible for 1.8 million square feet and over 800 associates. The site regularly handles 350+ trucks per day and over 400 during busy periods. During my time at the P&G Mixing Center I led Project Safety leading the site to a DHL Supply Chain North American and Global CEO Safety award. The site also won P&G's Distribution Center of the year award in 2017. I left the P&G's Mixing center to lead the Energizer Global Autocare startup in Monroe Ohio.

DHL Supply Chain is the global market leader in contract logistics, providing warehousing, managed transport and value-added services and offers solutions for corporate information and communications management. I joined the DHL team in August of 2014 to become the Human Resources Manager for their P&G Union location. The location was one of the largest startups in the country. Over the course of the next 2 years I helped grow the 1.8 million sq. ft. site from 3 associate to over 950, including a leadership team of 50+ supervisors and managers. As the Human Resources Manager, I worked to empower associate to be more through continuous training, change management, and coaching. In 2015 I was awarded the DHL Supply Chain HR Excellence Award. The site was also awarded the Miami Valley Goodwill Easter Seals 2015 Veteran Hiring Award for hiring the most veterans of the 75+ participating companies. I was promoted to General Manager for DHL at the P&G Dayton Mixing Center in August of 2016.

The Greater Hamilton Safety Council concentrates on improving and increasing safety awareness in the community. It is one of the nations oldest safety councils and contributes greatly to the Greater Hamilton Community. The council is composed of primarily voluntary members from the business community. It contributes to local organizations, businesses, and the community by providing safety training, programs, and networking opportunities. Programs include but are not limited to; Safety Town, So You Think You Can Drive, and Mock Crashes for local schools. The council has fire, industrial, transportation, home and school divisions that concentrate on improving safety knowledge in their respected fields. I started attending Industrial and Fire division meetings in 2008. As a regular attendee I was approached in early 2011 to be a co-chairman of the industrial division. As Co-Chairman I became a part of executive committee for the council. My primary function was industrial division oversight and content development and delivery. I became Vice President of the council 2012. In the role of Vice President I help oversee all aspects of the Council and serve on the Board of Directors.

Interstate WarehousingInterstate Warehousing is one of the nations largest 3rd Party Logistics Companies in the freezer storage Industry. Interstate concentrates in frozen food storage and logistics solutions for many of the nations largest and most renowned food suppliers. Interstate works on a differentiation strategy and concentrates on customer service. I worked at Interstate Warehousing for just over 8 years. I started in 2006 as a Administrative manager in training at our Franklin, IN location. As a Admin MIT I learned the administrative and customer service functions. I obtained success in helping organize the customer service process and implemented customer specific training. I was promoted to a Human Resource and Safety Manager within 7 months and was relocated to our Newport News, VA facility. During my time in Newport News I mainly completed HR Generalist tasks. I was responsible for all Human Resource functions including but not limited to; payroll, compliance, placement/staffing, on-boarding, and benefit administration. I was also responsible for the safety functions of the facility. I gained HAZMAT/HAZWOPER, Process Safety Management, and OSHA 30 hour certifications. I handled safety orientation for all employees, safety inspections, worker's compensation and safety compliance. At the start of 2008 I had the opportunity to transfer to Interstate's second largest facility; the Cincinnati, OH location. I continued in the in HR/Safety/PSM manager role from 2008 to 2011. I oversaw a large expansion in employment starting in 2011 and moved into a more strategic Human Resource Manager role as we expanded the facility. I helped oversee the implementation and design of their Safe Quality Foods(SQF) level 2 program. I redesigned and updated Interstate's employee handbook's for exempt and non-exempt employees, and helped redevelop their on-boarding process.I left Interstate Warehousing in 2014 to join DHL.
