Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations program placed me in an elite team tasked with empowering Apple’s third-party Java development community and strategic partners to thrive on the Macintosh Java platform.• Provided on-site Java consulting to diverse groups of external engineers with more than 25% travel• Established and maintained relationships with Java developers and partners key to Apple’s success• Liaised between third-party developers and the Macintosh Runtime for Java (MRJ) development team• Supported all technical aspects of Apple’s Java technology including QuickTime for Java, MRJ, and APIs• Authored technical documentation, sample code and online tutorials• Created and maintained an online tutorial and resource center, including a self-study Introduction to Java Programming

Developed Visual Café version one and two for the Macintosh, and version three for Windows, with a tight group of excellent engineers. I was primarily responsible for Visual Café's Java Bean library and publicly facing Java APIs. I also collaborated with the Swing (JFC) team at Sun Microsystems and Apple's Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ) team for first iterations on the Mac Swing GUI.
