For over a decade I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home. My passion for community service led me to join the Army National Guard, where I’ve served for the past 4 years. It is my hope to continue serving my community any way I can. During my time in the Army I’ve attended many different trainings that have given me a diverse skill set including being my platoon’s Subject Matter Expert on the M3E1 MAAWS. In addition I was called upon to help with the Covid-19 Pandemic, where I gained lots of great experience working at the Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg Oregon. While working in Roseburg, I was in charge of one other soldier on my floor. I spent approximately 2 months working in the Emergency room where I performed CPR on patients 3 times, and 2 more months working in the Hospital’s Special Treatment wing assisting nurses with their duties. At the end of the mission, I was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for my efforts. My skills and certifications include- Small team management- Organization and issue of Supply- CPR Certified- TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) Certified- Red Card Certified - Raven SUAS (Small Unmanned Aircraft System) Certified- Subject Matter Expert on the M3E1 MAAWS (Carl Gustaf Recoilless Rifle)
