As a member of the largest locally owned public accounting firm north of Seattle, I have the unique opportunity to work with regional, national and international clients. Today, I might prepare a local couple’s individual Form 1040 tax return. Tomorrow, I could complete a regional partnership’s Form 1065. Next week, I could be working on a detailed Canadian Corporation’s Form T2. While each day brings new projects and new learning opportunities, here are some of my current responsibilities:• Individual Forms 1040 and 1040NR preparation• Partnerships Form 1065 preparation• S-Corporations Form 1120S preparation• Corporations Form 1120 preparation• Canadian Individuals Form T1 preparation• Canadian Corporations Form T2 preparation• Communicate effectively with tax return reviewers, including managers, senior managers and partners regarding project statuses• Interacting with clients to obtain information required to prepare returns as well as assisting the client with whatever needs they might have.• Collaborate, learn and work side-by-side with 85-plus unique team members

Worked as a Tax intern for Larson Gross. Filed various kinds of returns including 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065 returns.

Created a spread sheet using Excel that categorized and totaled all expenditures made over the course of the summer season. Used that information to create statements that would be used to inform investors of the business' standings at the end of the season. Kept track of and approved payroll checks for the season. Also helped out on the river, ensuring customers signed the correct paperwork, were properly geared with the proper protective gear, and had a great time.
