My objective is to hold a position that allows me to utilize both my skills and creativity in the digital media field to produce a successful visual whole in all projects.I am creative, detail-oriented, and pride myself on efficiency and meeting deadlines. I have more than seven years of experience in video editing and videography. My work in the field began as a hobby, lead to my education, and evolved into my career. My first experiences were the result of a desire to bring my ideas to life in video form. My motives were personal, and the desire to create projects simply for myself continues to this day. I feel most at home working in Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro, while Photoshop, After Effects, and Motion are the standard tools used to enrich the projects I work on.I am a graduate of the digital media program at Tulsa Community College. While at TCC, I gained experience in a wide array of programs. That experience expanded my talents in multiple areas and served to supplement my video editing skills. In addition to my Associate in Applied Science degree, I have achieved certification from Adobe in multiple programs. Additionally, I acted as a lab assistant in the Digital Media Lab at the college, which strengthened my problem solving abilities as I helped students through the obstacles they faced in their work.Currently, I am the full-time video editor and associate producer at MDR Television, where I produce commercials and infomercials primarily for the automotive industry. My responsibilities include everything from writing scripts to submitting the finished projects to the television stations. I am experienced on shoots both in the studio and on location. Oftentimes, I am accountable for all facets of a full-length project, but I am accustomed to working in a team environment as well.Creating and producing new projects is a necessity for me; I plan to continue my growth as an editor and designer for years to come.
