Allen D. Edge is an ordained minister, a talented actor, director, producer, and comedian with over forty years in the performing arts. He’s worked with The Goodman Theatre, E.T.A. Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre, The Black Ensemble Theatre Company, Portland Stage Company, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Court Theatre,The Steppenwolf Theatre Company,GEVA Theatre Center, and Lincoln Boyhood Drama Assn.Allen is also a Performance Coach. Mr.Edge can help actors, professional speakers, singers, and dancers maximize their performance using proven methods. Allen has performed his special brand of humor at Zanies in Chicago, Jokes & Notes in Chicago, U Got Jokes Chicago, Comedy Central’s “Comic Justice”, The Comedy Café in Milwaukee, The Apollo Theatre in New York, and as the opening act for Pattie La Belle, Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, and The O’Jays. He was also featured in a number of commercials and films, including Barber Shop 2 and Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns”. Mr. Edge is also a member of Toastmasters International.
