By providing strategic direction and meticulous planning, I ensure that our conference serves as a dynamic platform for thought leaders, stakeholders, and advocates to converge, exchange ideas, and drive tangible change.My responsibilities span from conceptualizing themes and securing distinguished speakers to coordinating logistics and amplifying outreach efforts. As a Board Member of the University of Massachusetts School of Law Alumni Association, I play a vital role in shaping the organization's success. Together with my fellow Board Members, we provide strategic direction, promote alumni engagement, and support the association's mission.My responsibilities include attending board meetings, actively participating in decision-making, and contributing my expertise to guide the Alumni Association's growth. I collaborate with others to establish policies, initiatives, and programs that align with our goals. In addition, I foster relationships with fellow alumni, encouraging their involvement in events and programs. As an ambassador for the association, I represent our interests to external stakeholders, such as the university administration, legal professionals, and potential donors.Being a Board Member allows me to contribute to the long-term strategies, budgets, and fundraising efforts that ensure the Alumni Association's financial stability and sustainability. Having recently accepted this position, I will be serving as the inaugural Executive Director of a new 501 (C)(3) that is being started by the National Dance Coaches Association.Working in this role, I will help lead our team as we navigate the difficult barriers facing historically-excluded dancers in our various communities. In securing grants and outside funding, our team will then redistribute financial support that will work to address the systemic inequities prevalent in the professional and competitive dance communities.

In this position, I work in the Office of Civil Rights under the Office of the Secretary. I work as a Certified Legal Intern providing support to individuals facing civil rights abuses. In the Department of Health and Human Services, I eagerly represent the interests of our organization with every client that we have the privilege to serve. In preparing legal memorandum, reports, and things of this nature, I have the privilege to work with like-minded individuals in the pursuit and administration of justice.

In this role, I spend much of my time working on intakes with clients handling issues surrounding travel abuses, employment discrimination, hate based violence, and many other forms of discrimination currently being faced by the Muslim community of Massachusetts.

I currently work with the first paid and performing legislative body of the Associated Students, the AS WWU Student Senate, as the Senate Pro-Tempore. In this role, I manage 20 Student Senators and the committees they serve on, ad Chair the AS WWU Student Senate meetings.

I oversee all Academic Affairs concerning students, as they relate to the official administration of Western Washington University. In addition to crafting and organizing resources for students, I help advocate the student perspective on an array of different university committees and entities, including the Faculty-Senate.
