Providing onsite consulting services to elite hedge fund client in Westport, CT. My current focus is on Front/Middle office ETL using .NET and the Markit EDM platform. I work directly supporting the trade operations team by both resolving day to day operation issues and development on long running company wide initiatives. A big portion of my responsibilities is developing and supporting large SQL databases used for trade storage and processing. I also develop in .NET and work on supporting platform services such as Tibco EMS.

Providing consulting services to the Trading group. Projects included enterprise data management and various applications in the trading stack.

As a part of a small development team I handled front office development tasks. Some of these tasks included OMS development and support. PnL attribution, position and trade matching and reconciliation, market data integration, markitSERV integration, back and middle office ETL/Communication. I worked closely with traders and analysts to support the daily operations and provide immediate problem solving as well as fulfill long term development goals. I dealt with supporting multiple asset types focusing mainly on swaps, swopts, equities, and futures. One of my least favorite responsibilities was Form PF development.

At Barclays Capital, I lead development of service tools for FIX order processing and routing. I was responsible for development and delivery of highly scalable and reliable back end and front end components, which would handle throughput of 250 million messages daily. I designed and built a high speed dynamic rule processing engine used for FIX session monitoring, FIX message storage and retrieval, real-time alerting. I extensively used open source libraries: Esper/Nesper, BerkleyDB, ZeroC Ice, protobuf, ANT/NANT, Maven, Artifactory, Zookeeper etc. The most challenging part of this job was performance tuning of back end processes and GUI components. I worked with TIBCO communication layer as well as a linux/java back end with .Net user front end.

At northpoint sulutions, I worked on implementation of portfolio management systems for hedge fund clients my main assignments were Marathon located in NYC and SVP in Grenwich, CT. The portfolio/order management systems included development of security masters, Bloomberg Desktop and Server API integration, prime broker systems integration, real-time PnL calculation for positions, accrual calculation, trade capture, and position calculation. I was also involved in SEC Compliance reporting and SSRS reporting.
