As the Video Operations & QA Manager, my primary duty is to manage the video CMS and lead the final QA and upload of video for brand channels. This includes real time and historical analysis of video performance metrics, collaborating with video leadership and creative producers to address insights and improve video performance. I am comfortable with web analytics tools, video content management systems and video file formats and storage.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Quality Assurance• Maintain an expert level of knowledge on industry trends in keywords, tagging, titles andmetadata in order to drive viewership.• Ensure alignment of images, video and subject matter consistent with the brand voice.• Ingest cards, log footage, and organize shot footage and releases for Post-Production,Rights & Clearances, as well as for Archives.• Upload content as assigned daily and weekly on deadline and within budget constraintsAdministrative / Project Management• Maintain several ongoing projects at once.• Work closely with Producers to produce smart, creative video content that is consistent with the original vision.• Maintain regular communication with writers and producers to coordinate timely delivery of videos, project files, etc.• Participate in creative meetings and create a feedback loop with the Producers and editorial leads.

Gather input, review and analyze previous budgets, and work closely with other decision makers to develop, implement, and monitor operating and maintenance budgets. Create, air, and archive motion graphics and titles for News and Morning Shows; also manage in-house artists and edit News Reports on as-needed basis. Working closely between clients and management, spearheading major initiatives, such as upselling commercial packages. Directly oversee 12 employees comprising 3 hosts, 2 news anchors, and 7 editors/motion graphic designers.
