o Developed an understanding of the mining environment through Barminco’s Green Start Program.o Conducted regular inspections and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring that they were in good working condition and safe to use. This was done with Checkmates and Pre-Startso Collaborated with the mine planning team to develop short-term mine plans, enhancing my understanding of the mine planning process and the importance of accurate planning in ensuring the success of mining operations.o Participated in daily safety briefings and actively contributed to safety discussions, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.o Developed an understanding of the environmental impacts of mining operations and participated in activities aimed at minimising these impacts.o Participated in regular meetings with the mine engineering team, contributing to discussions on mine design, planning, and operational challenges.o Nipper experience including loading nipper LV, setting up headings and throwing bolts.o Assisted with the transportation of materials and equipment to and from the work site, ensuring that all necessary tools and supplies were available for the mining operations.o Assisted service crew with the installation and removal of mine services such as ventilation, water, and power supply, gaining practical experience in the essential services required for mine operations.o Operated Sandvik Toro TH-663i underground haul trucks, gaining practical experience in handling sophisticated mining equipment. o Operated mining equipment using VR project, developing my skills in the operation of heavy machinery and understanding the importance of equipment maintenance and safety.o This experience provided me with valuable insights into the practical aspects of mining engineering and reinforced my commitment to pursuing a career in this field.
