Job Title: Engineering Tech I* Scanning Telecom equipment’s inside each lab at least twice a year to update the GEMS database equipment inventory. Using a blue tooth Intermec wireless scanner gun.* Adding information of new and old Telecom equipment’s to GEMS database such as part number, release, serial number and description.* Fix or repair issues found while scanning equipment’s such as equipment’s with no barcode labels or asset labels. Equipment’s that are not in GEMS database yet.* Printing barcode labels or asset labels and attaching to assigned equipment’s inside the lab.

Job Title: Material Asset Specialist* Print barcode labels from an Intermec label printer and attach labels to equipment’s inside the lab.* Scanning and inventory of frames, shelves, cards and other Telecom equipment’s inside each lab and the warehouse to update GEMS database. Using an Intermec gun scanner.* Locate and prepare project materials from Receiving Dept. and the warehouse, update the COMP database and maintain materials distribution records. Delivered the project materials to the assigned installers inside each lab.

Job Title: Scanner/Project Material Person/Senior Technician* Scanning and inventory of all switches in all the labs and uploading scanner to the computer.* Prepare and consolidate project materials for upcoming projects and advice installers when materials are ready for pick-up. Maintain materials distribution records.* Coordinate the repair and return of defective Telecom equipment’s from internal customers, secure an RMA# , package the defective equipment’s and send to the respective vendors.* Coordinate the annual on-site and of-site calibration of all test equipment’s with the calibration vendors or manufacturers.
