As an administrator, my role was to liaise with customers & clients to ensure that their security systems were in good working order by arranging maintenance visits by the company engineers. I primarily liaised with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants & Cubitt House Pubs/Hotels throughout London to ensure that their security systems followed British Standards by arranging engineer visits to either carry out preventative maintenance or corrective maintenance visits.During this time, I pushed for & succeeded in streamlining company processes such as implementing the automation of the generating of maintenance & invoice notifications to our customer base via email. This process now takes one person 20 minutes to carry out, instead of two persons a full day as it was previously carried out manually.As part of my job role, I was also required to interrogate data that was captured in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, CASH. This was achieved by using a SQL (Structured Query Language) software to extrapolate data & provide that information to management and staff as requested. By carrying out this data retrieval & parsing it to relevant personnel, we as a company were able to reduce our outstanding job closures from 950 to 325, a reduction of almost 65%. This duty was essential as we were able to invoice outstanding completed works & provided financial stability to the company.

As a Barista, it was my responsibility to make orders satisfactory for the customer. This also includes unique orders that the customer requests. I also saw to the stock levels of the stor, from ingredients required for the drinks, to perishable items that the customer bought.

I was responsible for customer care and satisfaction during the holiday period, this ranged from answering customer queries, to solving issues that arose with their purchase, ensuring that the customer’s needs were seen to with the utmost professionalism and kindness.

It was my responsibility to oversee the daily running, upkeep and maintenance of machinery. This ranged from planning of maintenance around the ship’s programme, usually leading to out of hours work. Optimisation of machinery to ensure that it was at the highest possible standard of readiness.I was also responsible for the majority of the administration that was produced by the maintenance. This included regular inspections by myself to ensure standards were maintained and when forwarded to my superiors for inspection, rectifying any shortcomings identified.Subordinate training was also one of my remits. This entailed training and mentoring in the correct operation of machinery, safe conduct of work, fire-fighting and damage control.

As the senior Engineer it was my responsibility to organise the amount of duties my peers and subordinates received. Ensuring that personnel were fit for the task in respect for correct operation of machinery.It was also my remit to train and guide my peers and subordinates in shift working. This entailed correct standards of knowledge of the machinery that was under their care during their shift and safe and correct standard operating procedures in the event of a malfunction.I oversaw the regeneration of my section through a prolonged maintenance period. This included liaising with contractors to ensure that work was completed and rectifying any defects that became apparent. Through this process the section was able to make a 100% recovery and deliver optimal performance.
