As the Security Manager of Durham University contracted through Mitie, I oversee all aspects of Security across both campuses, in Durham and Stockton-On-Tees.I lead and direct a team who are responsible for the safety and welfare of all Students, Staff, Visitors and Property that are associated to the University of Durham.Whilst entering my 12th year at University I have been fortunate enough to spend many successful occasions directing the Security delivery to some of the largest events the University hosts. I’m proud to be working as part of such a large organisation, which has truly flourished in both its growth and student engagement, and my role has allowed me to develop a management style to motivate the team to meet and the ever-changing environment and service demands associated to such a prestigious University.
