As a Senior Database Administrator at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, I help organizations harness the full potential of their data by designing, tuning, and securing database environments that are robust, scalable, and highly-available. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from Washington State University, I have a strong foundation in engineering principles and analytical skills. I leverage my knowledge and experience in MS SQL Server administration to support various projects and clients in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Some of my achievements include migrating databases to the cloud, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and optimizing queries and indexes. I enjoy working with diverse and talented teams, and I always seek to learn new technologies and best practices. I am motivated by the challenge of solving complex data problems and delivering innovative solutions that add value and efficiency to the business processes. My goal is to continue to grow as a data professional and contribute to the success of my organization and clients.
