My role as a trainee Depot Manager contains various rigors that come with working in a scrap processing facility, including the use of various heavy plant during operations, as well as stock manipulation and management to ensure overheads are met and leading profits maintained in our area of business. Everyday is a challenge met head on and with the drive and commitment which will hopefully, one day see me overlooking the responsibility of various depots around the North East.

I managed to attain two promotions during my brief time at iceland, becoming a Duty Manager of a particulary demanding store, using my know how and skill set to make various improvements to the efficiency of operations in that store, whilst juggling the workload and challenge of a three year degree.

An excellent job experience which taught me I will never be happy as just a number. A real eye opener!
