I am currently completing my graduate scheme with National Gas. My role focuses on protecting and enhancing nature across the UKs gas network, while the business builds the infrastructure needed to transition to green hydrogen, a replacement for natural gas, and help the UKs energy systems achieve net-zero by 2050.

I worked alongside Deltares to understand the potential for blue-green infrastructure in Nottingham. Using Climatescan, a climate adaptation platform to map, categorise and analyse how nature based solutions impact heat stress, surface flood risk and bio-diversity within the city.

I worked with Lost City to provide a great customer service both on the course and behind the bar.

I worked for the Ocado Group as a HGV driver to save for my trip to Central and South America. Delivering food to peoples homes across Greater London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

During my time with the Woodland Trust I was placed in charge of a project that focused on bio-diversity net gain. The aim of this project was to convert an area of an old coal quarry into a habitat that encouraged native butterflies back to the area. Working with experts, local stakeholders, professionals within the business, contractors and my research skills I created a site that not only encouraged butterflies back to the area but also incorporated the needs and wants of local stakeholders.

I worked with Nottingham Citizens to understand the effects lockdown was having on peoples mental health in Nottingham.I worked with local community centres to understand what more can be done to help people. At the end of the project I presented my findings and proposed solutions to Nottingham City Council and local stakeholders.

My first job in the service industry. Working with bar staff, waiters, front of house and chefs to provide the best service possible to customers.
