Working for this events company gave me the oppurtunity to lead a team of 10 bar staff at the world famous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (November 2018). We (the team) were situated in the VIP tower along the longest straight at the circuit, and had the role of serving extraordinary and bespoke cocktails to the VIP guests throught the course of the event. My role was to manage the staff throughout the event ensuring everything was running smoothly, my staff understood their role and were performing to their best and most importantly the clients were enjoying their experience and being well catered for. In addition to this I have taken part in consultancy for new bars by training staff before an opening, I have experience dealing with suppliers and clients, preparing invoices, stock orders, events briefs and debriefs, event timetables and logistics.
