I am a Senior Security Operations Leader with considerable specialist experience managing critical risks across regional and global public, private and governmental infrastructures driving high-quality and efficient protection strategies.Leveraging a background that spans all aspects of close protection and armed response policing, I have taken a pivotal role in delivering best practice operational security solutions for high-risk situations, VVIPs and major events and summits, recently including global conferences and national political campaigns.Currently, I am Lead Protection Officer for Royal and Specialist Protection at the Metropolitan Police Service heading close protection security operations for His Majesty’s Government. I also spent a period as Close Protection Events Planner for major Royal and Government UK plc events. Prior to this, I was an Armed Response Officer, initially for Hertfordshire Constabulary before moving to the Met in the same role.My wide-ranging threat, risk and operational experience and deep understanding of physical and travel security and ISO regulations, allows me to formulate commercially astute and compliant working practices while embedding cross-functional and scalable security capability. This is complemented by my recent attainment of a Postgraduate Diploma in Critical National Infrastructure Security.I also direct critical incident response activities and plan and execute multi-venue and time zone security tactics and strategies.
