Currently managing multiple sites in the middle east such as Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman, with multiple contracts in each location, I have recently taken on this role as deputy maintenance manager, including works such as planning and organizing the maintaining of newly and previously installed equipment, specializing in lifting and sorting / storage equipment. This role includes contract quoting, ensuring maintenance schedules are met, work force and staff is adequate, training, client communication and gathering, employee well being and most importantly health and safety.Having contracts in many areas from a pharmaceuticals warehouse all the way to the cargo transfer and storage facility at Hamad international airport (HIA) in Doha.

Employed as a service/installation lift engineer, building and fixing domestic lifts inhomes. This role required services on all equipment such as motors, electrical systems,programmable logic controllers (PLC), rotating rope drums and cars. Often fault finding andsystem diagnostics to figure why a lift has stopped, referring to electrical and engineeringdrawings to resolve the problems

Working alongside completing my degree, this was a hands on practical role teaching many engineering skills such as welding, turning, fitting, workshop proficiency and planned maintenance. Living on a ship requires the sustaining of yourself and all equipment required to live so a vast array of hands on experience with many different types of equipment was involved, these include such systems as engines, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, sewage, air compressors, generators and much more.

Joining the Army reserves whilst studying for my Level 3 qualifications allowed for many different opportunities as well as a sense of responsibility at a young age. It took me to many places and taught me numerous skills which can be used in everyday situations. Staying with the Army reserves until December 2017, I completed an operational tour of Afghanistan which I believe to have given me a gateway of opportunities from experience and skills gathered to which I still use today.
