• Operate the Gas Plant and Oil Gathering Station, via a Data Control System (DCS) to deliver, on time, daily nominated import and export volumes of gas whilst maintaining regular dialogue with National Grid control room & PETL/EPUKI and advise daily gas flow profiles.• Offer supervision and training of reportees, to assist them in fulfilling the requirement of their respective job specifications and adopting safe working practices. This includes assessing the day to day competency of the operators by signing off the competency assessment folder.• Carry out duties as detailed in the emergency response plan and act as incident controller for incident response to any abnormal or emergency situations that may arise, ensuring that all the procedures laid out by the Company are followed.• Ensure Safe Systems of Work are being applied, by the use of permit control, risk assessments, toolbox talk for daily maintenance tasks and planned shutdown works across all sites.• Control of three Gas Turbines on site, ensuring correct communications and control are actioned when synching to the grid, ensuring correct steps are taken when complete power loss to the plant has occurred and safely bringing the plant back online.

• Control and operate the Oil Gathering Station, equipment & associated Wellsite via a Data Control System (DCS) under the direction of the Operations Manager in accordance with the company HSEMS.• Optimise Humbly Grove facility performance, within set parameters, and take corrective action to prevent abnormal conditions and ensure export oil specifications are achieved. • Co-ordinated the 2019 annual Shutdown of the Oil Plant, taking control of all HGEL staff and contractors, making sure we hit deadlines safely, and planned all work to have the Oil plant back operational within the time frame given.• Support a Positive health, safety and environmental culture, offering improvement suggestions and participate in review of work practises and procedures. (Safety Representative) • Have the ability and training to respond to and recover from unplanned shutdowns and/or emergency situations whilst observing safety and procedural constraints, whilst maintaining composure and a professional attitude.• Supervision and training of operators, to assist them in fulfilling their requirement of their respective job specifications and adopting safe working practises. • Currently working towards an HNC in Process Engineering.

• Operated and maintained the Oil and Gas plant to a high standard, always learning and working exceptionally well as part as a team or independently.• Worked on small jobs as Area Authority, issuing permits, completing procedures and applying isolations.• Took part in the annual shutdown of the plant, demonstrating excellent skills as an operator, and constantly working hard to get the jobs complete within the deadline.• Continually strived to further my knowledge by completing POL courses in my own time, and always being the first to offer my assistance whilst both on and off shift.• Developed a strong, professional relationship with colleagues and contractors, and have reflected on their advice and feedback to further my skills within Humbly Grove.• Use my initiative to maintain high standards of housekeeping around the sites.

• Worked as part of a team and independently whilst operating and maintaining a variety of processes, manually in the field and using computer systems to run and operate the process using current GMP.• Took on the role of Quality Representative, which involved discussing and relaying the current issues to the other team members on my shift. • Joined the Fire/ERT Team with Novartis, which involved additional responsibility over the site, such as being first response to on site Emergencies. • Handled and charged/discharged dangerous materials safely and correctly, always wearing the correct PPE and following Quality and HSE guidelines to a high standard.

• Deployed on an operational tour of Afghanistan, operated as part of a 6-man search team living and working in arduous conditions under extreme pressure. • Completed the Royal Engineer Search Course, a 6 week long course where I learned all there is to know about search, from building/venue searches to vehicle/personnel search. I have demonstrated these skills on several occasions within Afghanistan, Northern Ireland and the UK.• Maintained the high standards achieved from my Basic Training working extra hours, and seeking advice from more senior members within.• Received an excellent report from my subordinates on completion of Basic Training, stating I had worked extremely hard within my time here.
