The manufacturing plant in Goodwood, England, employs some of the most talented craftspeople and engineers in the world.Lead Programmer:• Leading a team of robotic programmers during the introduction of a new multi robot painting installation.• Overseeing all programming activities associated with new model introduction.

Leading a team of robotic programmers with the primary task of integrating a new B&M robotic system into an existing Fanuc robot production line.Introducing electrostatic bell painting equipment and associated programming methods.Creating and implementing a virtual offline programming model to maximise the efficiency and throughput of the entire robotic process.

Lead engineer managing all technical aspects of new project launches using offline programming and simulation tools to maximise the efficiency of the robotic process before and during full implementation.Designing fixture configurations to ensure accurate and efficient presentation to the robotic process.Ensuring all targets of new projects are realised including initial builds, final throughput and quality standards.

Responsible for developing and managing a team of Technicians to run the entire day-to-day responsibilities of a robotic paint process, using a ‘Right First Time’ monitor as a key performance indicator.Solely responsible for production quality; ensuring all standards are reviewed, monitored and improved to maximise customer satisfaction levels.Responsible for supporting and managing new project implementation; i.e. costing, quoting, process design, new process equipment design and procurement and furthermore, programming.Managing long term improvements and efficiencies to improve the Company’s output in order to achieve maximum profit.Expected to produce exceptionally high quality parts for customers such as: Rolls Royce, Bentley, Honda, Ford and Land Rover.Focused as part of the middle management team to achieve improvements to OEE, downtime, scrap and scrap costs.Managing ‘Total Preventative Maintenance’ activities, including annual robot service and spares procurement.

Managing all areas of new project implementation: layout design, electrical design, installation, programming, risk assessment and commissioning.

Responsible for researching and developing new application methods.Responsible for designing electrical and mechanical integration with a robotic manipulator.Expected to use new application methods to produce solutions to existing industry problems.

Electrical, mechanical and software fault finding.Using fault finding skills in a methodical way to minimise customer downtime and scrap.

Installing and commissioning Robotic cells into new and existing production lines.Using layout drawings and electrical schematics to construct a fully operational robotic cell.
