I am a Robotic Engineer with a high level of expertise in automotive painting and associated applications. I specialise in developing new and existing robotic programs in a virtual environment, validating and optimizing all aspects of the process to ensure the highest possible levels of quality and efficiency.In my current role, I am the Lead Programmer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars overseeing the programming of a new multi robot installation, Furthermore, I cover all programming activities of new model development, from initial concept, through to final production sign-off. I have overseen the successful launch of many new projects, including multi-component projects for other high-end automotive O.E.M’s such as Land Rover, BMW and Bentley.I am experienced to a high level on ABB, B&M, Fanuc and Yaskawa robots. In addition to this, I am a qualified Electrical Engineer having worked my apprenticeship with Yaskawa Robotics, where I gained in-depth electrical and mechanical knowledge within the field of robotics. I have further experience in the following applications: Mig Welding, Spot Welding, Palletising, Water Jet Cutting, Applying Adhesive, Manipulating, Plasma Cutting, CO2 Cleaning and Flaming.
