As head coach, it is my role to work with adult playing members to improve their skill sets. I conduct sessions throughout winter and summer, which work on the players match play, strength and conditioning and technical abilities.

I worked as the Cricket Professional at St George’s Junior School, Weybridge. I coached alongside full and part time games staff to deliver sessions to boys and girls aged between 5 and 11. These sessions worked on various skill sets and intensity depending on the players ages and ability. I also coach at the Chris Harrison Cricket Academy working with players who are looking to improve their game away from their Clubs and Schools.

I work with bowlers of all ages who may need to improve from either a technical or tactical standpoint. These sessions are generally in a small group environment or on a one to one basis.

Head coach for the Under 13’s league representative team who competed against teams from around Victoria. I worked closely alongside Cricket Victoria and Melbourne Renegades coaches to deliver high quality training sessions as well as managing match days.

As the schools PE teacher I would plan, deliver and assist in lessons in a variety of sports. The children would get the opportunity to challenge themselves in new sports and activities, whilst also improving in common sports which they may also play outside of school. As well as my commitments during school hours, I would also plan and coach extra-curricular activities for the children. This often led to us competing at other locations in a variety of sports.Along side this role I would work with children during class times, generally working with students with Special Educational Needs to assist the class teacher with English, Maths and other parts of the curriculum.
