Managing all IT related procurement for NTU’s Digital Technologies department, filling both my current (then) role as Assistant Buyer and the Senior Buyer position that was left vacant due to COVID.

During the Christmas Period of 2013, I was employed as a Christmas Temporary Sales Partner atJohn Lewis in Nottingham. I was initially offered the position of Sales Partner in the Technologydepartment and was soon offered additional hours to work as a Partner in the Click and Collectdepartment.My role in the Technology department involved constant interaction with customers, providingadvice and support, and helping customers to understand a variety of products within sound &vision and computing & phones.As a Partner in the Click & Collect department, I had the responsibility of stock taking and stockcontrol as well as serving customers and sourcing their purchases. I also had to manage a numberof customer issues/complaints mainly due to a lack of understanding of the on-line system but alsowhen the system occasionally let customers down.I thoroughly enjoyed my time working as a Sales Partner with John Lewis and the experience hashelped me to development my interpersonal skills.
