Journey Developer in Borrow Money: Strategy and Insight

As Senior Peer Support Leader, I was employed by the University of Edinburgh to oversee all Peer Support initiatives within the Business School. I managed a team of over 50 student volunteers across 8 schemes, with a high level of autonomy. I gained experience in agile decision making and strategic planning in a working environment heavily impacted by Covid-19. As part of my role, I worked with the Student Development team and school faculty to ensure all stakeholders needs were met and an exemplary standard of peer support was maintained. I assisted in the arrival of 600 new students to the Business School, and delivered numerous presentations providing critical information. This work has allowed me to develop my problem solving, planning and leadership skills significantly.

I worked for a student driven marketing agency as Social Media Manager. I had responsibility for my client portfolio, creating and delivering B2B and B2C content across a range of social media platforms. By carrying out in-depth business analysis and developing clear lines of communication I cultivated strong working relationships with my clients, ensuring their needs were met while providing creative new marketing strategies. I have gained experience in client management, as well as working in a professional environment, applying concepts I have learnt while studying at university. This work has allowed me to develop my skills in creativity, communication, and analysis.
