As the marketing team at Great Yarmouth Arts Festival grew from two people to a team of six, the role of Marketing Director was formed. Me and another colleague took on the role together, I focused more on the website and oversaw the social media.From August 2023, my colleague stepped down and left the company, leaving me as Marketing Director in a solo basis,During my time in this role, I created and designed the 2023 brochure, leaflets and other promotional material, such as our social media posts, announcing acts and events. I had a lot of positive and also some very constructive comments regarding my designs and work. As the team grew, my role included Team Management skills, which allowed me to develop my working relationships with our publicity volunteers.

Working within the Tourism industry in Social Media Promotion.Main Roles & Responsibilities:- Promoting Local Attractions, Events & Activities via Social Media- Answering public queries relating to tourism, attractions and our hosted events- Providing the team with Digital Support when needed.- Light Photography work, where photos are shown on the VGY website and social media.- Working on the "BIG Wednesday" and "BIG Tuesday" Firework events in Great Yarmouth & Hemsby.- Customer Service at the 2024 Wheels Festival

I started off at Great Yarmouth Arts Festival as a Marketing Assistant, during this role I created a new company website; created new social media channels and built them up.I assisted on the design of the 2022 brochure, leaflet and design, and worked with the external designer and our chairman to make sure everything was shipshape.
